What is a perfume extract?
Perfume extract, sometimes called "pure perfume" or simply "perfume," is the most concentrated form of fragrance available. It differs from eau de toilette and eau de parfum in its richness of fragrant materials.
A higher essence concentration
A perfume extract generally contains between 20% and 40% fragrant essence, diluted in high-quality alcohol. Eaux de parfum, in comparison, range from 13% to 20%, and eaux de toilette from 5% to 15%.

Gestures to avoid
Never rub your wrists together after application: this gesture breaks down the top note molecules and distorts the olfactory evolution. Let the perfume dry naturally.
Layering to intensify longevity
To further prolong the longevity of your extract, apply it to moisturized skin. Dry skin retains fewer fragrant molecules. Using a neutral body cream or light oil before the perfume helps trap the molecules and amplify the sillage.
